Sponsored Books
The ASRF will continue to commission the publication of books on various issues. The members of the ASRF would have the opportunity to submit book proposals to the Research and Publication Committee for consideration.
The “Monograph Series”
The “Series” is designed to serve as a publication outlet for the research activities of the members of the ASRF. The manuscripts in the series would be longer than journal articles, but shorter than book manuscripts. The “Series” will be managed by the ASRF’s Research and Publication Committee with the Director of Research and Publication, and Chair of the Committee serving as the “Series” editor.
Online Peer Review Journal
The online peer review journal will primarily serve as an outlet for the publication of the research findings of the members of the ASRF, as well as non-members. The fact that the journal would be an online one would make it cost effective. The name of the journal and publication schedule will be formulated by the ASRF’s Research and Publication Committee.
Research Conferences
The ASRF will endeavor to sponsor major research conferences, including Africa-based conferences. These conferences will be interdisciplinary in terms of the foci, to enable many members of the ASRF, especially the “budding scholars,” from diverse disciplines to participate. The Research and Publication Committee will organize the meetings.
